Manual penetration testing


While vulnerability scans can point to missing updates and indicate the patching status, they are often unable to uncover more complex vulnerabilities, including application vulnerabilities.

In these cases, manual penetration testing will be carried out.

Patching: A patch is a section of code that is added to make changes to software, for example to correct a bug or a security vulnerability. Patching brings together all the modifications made to a given software package.
